Palm Springs, located 172 km east of Los Angeles, is a desert city. Long considered California’s ultimate desert playground, the greater Palm Springs area is comprised of several cities surrounded by breathtaking mountain vistas. Taquitz and Palm Canyon are two more popular hikes however many more surround the area.
Festivals and sporting events also abound within greater Palm Springs. The International Film Festival brings movie stars to the area every January, Indian Wells is the home of the BNP Paribas Tennis Open every March and the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival brings visitors from all over the world every year to this famous outdoor music venue with a stream of musical talents.
Of course, who can forget the spas? Warm, healing, soothing, spa experiences are limitless in Palm Springs. Many of the large resorts offer both golf and spa options within their properties and often offer a day spa experience for minimal cost for use of their pools, saunas and thermal baths for generic viagra those not staying at their resort but wish to enjoy their amenities.
